Shardiya Navratri 2023 Puja Vidhi

What is the Navratri 2023 date in October? Navratri 2023 begins on 15th October 2023 and ends on 24th October 2023. The sacred festival starts with Ghat shthapana and ends with the submersion of the idol into the water on Dashmi.

Further, the Navratri 2023 celebration comes in full bloom from day 7th as in certain cities, Mata Durga idols are kept in pandals, and people pay homage to these idols. In addition to this, on the 9th day, there is Kanya puja. In Kanya puja, people worship nine girls, believing them to be nine forms of Goddess Durga.

Firstly, take wow, either nine day fast or two day fast to fulfill your wish.

Secondly, purify your home with Ganga Jal or pure water. Light ghee diya and chant Durga Saptashati. In puja, use kumkum, akshat, sandalwood, flowers, and fragrance.

Thirdly, if you are fasting, take a satvik meal

Shardiya Navratri 2023 Ghatasthapana Muhurat

There is a specific time for Ghat Sthapana in Shardiya Navratri 2023. The auspicious time lies between 6:21 AM and 10:12 AM. The Abhijit Muhurat is between 11:44 AM and 12:30 AM.

For Ghat Sthapana, place a kalash on a wooden table with a crimson-colored cloth on it. Fill the kalash with water and put some betel and mango leaves inside it. Tie the mauli on the Kalash and cover it with a cloth afterward. Further, keep mango leaves on the head of the Kalash and a coconut tied in red Chunari. After that, make Swastik on the Kalash to bring prosperity.
