You woke up, and his name was gone. WhatsApp, Instagram, even his number — all blocked. No fight, no warning, no explanation. Just silence where someone used to be.

Being blocked by someone you love is one of the most disorienting things a person can experience. It is not just a breakup. It is erasure. And it leaves you with questions that ordinary advice cannot answer.

Why did this happen? Was there something in the relationship that made this ending inevitable? Is there any possibility of reconnection? Or is it over in a way that is written deeper than just his decision?

Vedic astrology has answers. Not comfortable answers — real ones. The planetary positions in your birth chart and his often explain sudden, complete disconnections in a way that nothing else does.

I have seen this pattern hundreds of times in my consultations. And in almost every case, the chart was telling the story before the blocking happened.

Ketu in the 7th House: The Planet That Disappears

Of all the planetary positions that correlate with sudden disconnection, Ketu in the 7th house is the one I see most often in these cases — either in your chart, his chart, or both.

Ketu is the south node of the Moon. It is a shadow planet — no physical body, pure karmic energy. In Vedic astrology, Ketu represents detachment, dissolution, and sudden withdrawal. It does not build. It ends.

The 7th house governs partnership, romantic commitment, and long-term bonding. When Ketu sits here, it creates a complicated relationship with closeness. The person with Ketu in the 7th often genuinely connects — sometimes very deeply — and then withdraws without apparent reason. They pull back not always out of cruelty but out of a deep, often unconscious need for spiritual space.

What Ketu in the 7th Looks Like in a Relationship

The partner with Ketu in the 7th tends to be hard to hold. They are present and then not. They connect intensely and then go cold. When it ends, it often ends without a conversation — because Ketu does not do closure. Ketu dissolves.

Being blocked is a very Ketu action. No confrontation. No explanation. Just — gone.

If you do not know his birth chart, clues are still there. Did the relationship always feel slightly unreal? Did he sometimes seem to be somewhere else even when he was with you? Did connection feel intense but somehow never quite solid? These are Ketu signatures.

What This Means for You

If he has Ketu in the 7th, his pulling away is not necessarily about you. Ketu in the 7th creates a pattern of withdrawal that follows him from relationship to relationship. He likely does not fully understand it himself.

This does not mean reconnection is impossible. It means reconnection requires addressing the karmic root — not just the surface event. More on that below.

If you have Ketu in your own 7th house, the situation carries additional layers. Your marriage astrology chart will show what karmic lessons around partnership you are here to work through — and whether this relationship is part of that or a detour.

Mars-Rahu: When a Relationship Ends Like an Explosion

Not every blocking is a quiet Ketu disappearance. Some are explosive. A fight, a revelation, an accusation — and then the block comes fast and total.

That pattern usually has Mars and Rahu written all over it.

What Mars-Rahu Does in a Chart

Mars is the planet of aggression, passion, and direct confrontation. Rahu is desire that cannot be satisfied — obsessive, chaotic, boundary-breaking. When these two combine in a chart, either in conjunction, mutual aspect, or both influencing the 7th house or its lord, relationships get volatile.

Mars-Rahu energy is intense attraction followed by equally intense conflict. The relationship burns bright. Then something ignites — sometimes a real issue, sometimes a misunderstanding amplified by Rahu's tendency to distort — and the disconnection is as sudden and total as the original attraction was.

The blocking, in these cases, is Mars in action. Immediate. Definitive. A door slammed shut.

Mars in the 7th or Aspecting the 7th Lord

Mars directly placed in or aspecting the 7th house — or aspecting Venus — brings conflict into the relationship sphere. Arguments that escalate past the point of repair. Reactive decisions made in anger that the person later regrets but feels too proud to reverse.

If the blocking happened during or right after a fight, this is likely the planetary signature at work. In my love problem solution consultations, Mars-Rahu cases are among the ones where reconnection is actually possible — because the separation came from an explosion, not from deep karmic withdrawal. The door was slammed. Doors can be reopened.

Rahu in the 5th or 7th House

Rahu in the 5th house creates obsessive romantic attraction. When that attraction does not get what it needs, the flip side of Rahu activates — paranoia, jealousy, accusations, and sudden severance.

Rahu in the 7th brings the same intensity to partnership itself. The relationship always felt a little bigger than life, a little unreal. Rahu distorts — it amplifies everything, good and bad. And when Rahu relationships end, they tend to end dramatically.

The Navamsa D9 Chart: Was This Relationship Written to Last?

This is the question everyone actually wants answered, even if they phrase it differently.

The birth chart (D1) shows circumstances. The Navamsa D9 chart shows the soul of your love life — what kinds of partnerships you are karmically meant to have, and whether a specific relationship is aligned with that path or working against it.

When I analyze blocking cases, I always look at the D9 alongside the D1. The combination tells me far more than either chart alone.

When the D9 Shows Reconnection is Possible

If Venus is well-placed in your D9 — exalted, in its own sign, or in a friendly sign — your capacity for love and partnership is strong. A blocking, even a painful one, is more likely to be a temporary rupture than a permanent ending.

If the 7th lord in your D9 is strong and well-aspected, partnership generally works in your life. This person may or may not return, but your love life path is not one of permanent isolation.

When the D9 Points to a Deeper Karmic Lesson

If Ketu is in or aspecting the D9 7th house, or if Saturn heavily afflicts Venus in the D9, the situation is more complex. These placements sometimes indicate a relationship that was meant to be experienced rather than continued — a karmic chapter that has concluded.

This sounds harsh. But knowing it is genuinely useful. It shifts the question from "how do I get him back" to "what am I meant to take from this and where do I go from here?" That is a much more empowering question.

Dasha-Antardasha: When Does Reconnection Become Possible

The Dasha system — Vedic astrology's planetary timing framework — is what I use to answer the timing question. Not "will he come back" in the abstract, but "what does the planetary period right now and in the coming months indicate?"

Venus Dasha or Antardasha: The Window for Reconnection

If you are currently running a Venus Dasha or Venus Antardasha, this is the most favorable planetary period for love matters. Blocked or estranged relationships have a higher chance of movement — contact resumed, barriers softening — during Venus periods, especially if Venus is well-placed in your natal chart.

Venus Antardasha within a Jupiter Dasha is particularly promising. Jupiter expands and protects; Venus brings love. The combination creates conditions where reconciliation becomes not just possible but likely.

Saturn Dasha: Patience, Not Panic

Saturn Dasha or Saturn Antardasha does not mean love is dead. It means the lesson is discipline, patience, and emotional maturity. Rushing during a Saturn period tends to make things worse — the more pressure applied, the more resistance builds.

Saturn rewards people who wait with purpose. If you are in a Saturn period, the most useful thing you can do is work on yourself — your chart, your energy, your healing — rather than pursue the blocked person directly.

Rahu or Ketu Dasha: Complex and Unpredictable

Rahu Dasha brings confusion and non-linear developments. Things may seem to move forward, then collapse again. Ketu Dasha brings detachment — in you, in him, or both.

I do not recommend pursuing reconnection aggressively during either Rahu or Ketu Dasha. These are periods for going inward, understanding patterns, and clearing energy — not for chasing outcomes.

Practical Steps Based on Your Planetary Picture

If His Chart Shows Ketu in the 7th

Ketu cannot be chased. Direct pursuit will deepen the withdrawal. What sometimes works with Ketu-7th partners is creating genuine space — and then allowing the Dasha timing to create natural opening. If his Dasha shifts to a Venus or Jupiter period, the natural warmth that Ketu suppresses can resurface.

Ketu energy also responds to spiritual remedy — specifically, Ketu mantra, Ganesha worship, and practices that address the south node's karmic residue. I cover these in detail during consultations.

If Mars-Rahu Caused the Explosion

There is more agency here. Mars-Rahu separations are reactive, not karmic in the deep Ketu sense. The fire burns fast, but the ash cools.

During this period: do not send a series of messages or try to break through the block forcibly. Mars escalates when pushed. Give the heat time to dissipate. The period when reconnection is most likely is when his Dasha moves into a softer planetary period — Venus, Moon, or Jupiter.

If you want to understand how to get him back after this kind of ending, the approach has to match the planetary cause.

Remedies for the 7th House

Regardless of what caused the blocking, strengthening your own 7th house energy is always useful.

— Pray to Lord Shiva and Parvati on Mondays for harmony in relationships.

— Offer white flowers and white sweets to Venus on Fridays.

— If Ketu is involved, a Ketu mantra — "ॐ केतवे नमः" — recited 108 times, ideally on a Tuesday or Saturday, helps reduce Ketu's separating influence.

— If Mars is involved, Mars mantra — "ॐ अं अंगारकाय नमः" — on Tuesdays.

For vashikaran specialist remedies beyond mantra, the specific approach depends entirely on what your chart and his chart show. There is no single remedy that fits every blocked-ex situation.

What the Blocked Contact Itself Tells You

Blocking is a statement, not just an action. It says: I want complete distance and I am not ready to negotiate that.

Vedic astrology does not tell you to ignore that signal. It tells you to understand what planetary energy is driving it — and what that means for your next move.

If Ketu is driving it: space and spiritual remedy are your tools. Time is working for you, not against you, if you use it well.

If Mars-Rahu is driving it: the block may lift when the heat dissipates. Your own energy and chart strength during this period matter.

If Saturn is involved: there is a karmic debt being settled. Patience and self-development are the remedies.

The worst response in almost every case is frantic pursuit. It signals desperation, which weakens your planetary position and usually deepens the other person's withdrawal.

When It Is Truly Over — And How Astrology Helps You Know

I want to say this clearly, because I believe people deserve honesty more than comfort.

Some blockings are permanent. When the D9 chart shows a deeply afflicted 7th house, when both Ketu and Saturn strongly influence the relationship sector, and when the Dasha timing shows no Venus or Jupiter window coming in the near term — the honest reading is that this chapter is closed.

In those cases, continuing to focus energy on this person is working against your own chart, your own karma, and your own evolution.

The most powerful thing astrology can do in these situations is redirect you. Your love compatibility with this person may be genuinely low. Your compatibility with someone else — whose chart we have not looked at yet — may be very high. That person exists. Your chart is not a sentence of loneliness.

If you want to check where you stand with your current love horoscope and planetary timing, the love horoscope by sign is a good starting point.

A Word on Black Magic and Third-Party Interference

In some blocking cases, people wonder if someone else is involved — a family member, a jealous person, or black magic. It does sound dramatic, but it is a real factor in some of the cases I see.

If the blocking was completely out of character — if the relationship was genuinely good and the change in him was sudden and total, with no logical cause — black magic removal is worth considering as part of the diagnosis. The chart will show signs of external negative influence if it is present.

I do not raise this to create fear. I raise it because identifying the correct cause leads to the correct remedy. Treating a Rahu-Mars situation with Ketu remedies does not work. And treating an external interference case as a simple Ketu withdrawal will also not work.

How to Talk to Me About Your Situation

When people come to me with a blocked-ex situation, here is what helps me help them most:

Your date, time, and place of birth — the foundation of everything.

His date of birth, if you know it. Even just the date without time gives me useful information.

A brief account of what happened before the blocking — how the relationship ended or what the last interaction was.

How long the relationship lasted and the overall quality of the connection.

With that, I can map the planetary picture, check the Dasha timing, look at the Navamsa, and give you an honest reading of what happened, why, and what your realistic options are.
