Devotees should start their day with a bath and wear clean clothes afterward. They should clean the place of worship, and at the auspicious time, they should decorate the Mandap for the Vivah. They should keep the Tulsi plant in the middle and four sugarcanes on the four sides for decorating. Further, they place the Shaligram of Lord Vishnu towards the right of the plant on a Chowki. After that, they should keep a coconut on top of the Kalash. But before this, they should fill the Kalash with water, rice, and coins and cover its mouth with mango leaves. After this, they should tie the coconut to Kalash with Mauli.

1. Place the idol of Lord Ganesh over a pile of rice and worship Him.
